The difference between Insured and Uninsured

The difference between Insured and Uninsured 5/5 (100%) 4 votes

There are times when people need to go to a hospital and seek medical attention.  Though, the American health care system is a billion dollar industry, it reject people that can’t pay for its services. The current health care system can be divided into two groups–health care for the insured and no health care or limited care for the uninsured. The kind of medical and personal care that an individual gets under the current American health care system has something to do with the financial status.  Eventhough, America is refered to as the land of equal opportunity, segregation is still practiced.

Everybody is aware of the fact that those with health insurance receive much better medical and personal treatment from health care providers than people that don’t have health insurance. The insured gets treated with dignity and respect. Sadly, the uninsured gets treated with apathy and disdain. For uninsured people, obtaining health care can be an extremely demoralizing and frustrating experience.
